Located in our Odessa, TX facility, this position is responsible for ensuring positive employee relations by providing employees and managers with effective advice and guidance on issues surround daily human resources activities and employment conditions and benefits.  This position will work closely with the Senior HR Manager of Aftermarket, HR team, local management and field service employees.


  • Employee relations, point of contact on day to day issues, compensation benefits, performance management, legal,
  • Provide Human Resources expertise to support the achievement of site and business goals, and champion organizational change.
  • Identify, create and foster opportunities to create a positive, dynamic culture where employees have an opportunity to contribute and grow professionally.
  • Partner with client group on local and facility initiatives including culture, communication and continuous improvement
  • Advise both local management and employees in HR related matters to ensure compliance with company policy and applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations
  • Manage recruiting process for internal and external needs meeting quality and timeliness goals
  • Maintain current proficiency in various HR related skills and matters including compensation, benefits, employee relations trends and practices, legal requirements and regulations, and other knowledge necessary to support effective employee relations
  • Collaborate with HR team across Bearings & Compression
  • Monitors key performance indicators, such as headcount, overtime, turnover, absenteeism, and other HR KPI's as required.
  • Supports and provides guidance HR policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the team and client group 
  • Willing to Travel 10-15%


  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience with LEAN/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement methodology a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems
  • Demonstrated discretion, confidentiality and integrity
  • Demonstrated ability to be self -managed, efficient, and organized; flexible and ability to adapt
  • Excellent listening skills and commitment to communicate clearly, completely, and in a timely manner

  • Exceptional skills in partnering with clients and staff in developing and maintaining relationships
  • Ability to organize time effectively, determine priorities, and move work forward
  • Proficiency in use of MS Excel , Word, PowerPoint and other software tools  to facilitate HR services delivery
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local labor and employment laws and regulations (i.e. NLRB, FLSA, FMLA, EEO, ADA).
  • Bachelors' Degree in Business Management or Related Field Required
  • Minimum eight years' HR work experience with emphasis in generalist responsibilities preferably in a manufacturing or services environment
  • PHR/SPHR certification a plus
