The Inside Sales Manager (ISM) is responsible for overseeing the performance of the Jeffersonville based Internal Sales Team, supporting Cook customers across the globe. 


  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the US internal sales team assuring that proper manpower and expertise are in place to execute on department goals.  
  • Take on the lead role as Inside Sales Representative for a select number of accounts. Duties include, but are not limited to order entry, quoting, contract review, and customer follow-up 
  • Monitor activity and performance of internal sales team, ensuring that task including but not limited to quotation response, order entry, price negotiations and order management are carried out with excellence 
  • Provide contribution to overall strategic direction of company that drives a clear customer focus and favorable market position 
  • Assist in development and monitoring of bottom-up and top-down multi-year sales forecasts, communicating to key finance and management functions
  • Support export compliance requirements for the site, providing guidance to the team to ensure that applicable policies are followed
  • Assist upper management in the development and fine tuning of pricing policies to maximize value extraction in each market that we serve 
  • Assist external sales in periodic visits to 'Most Valuable/Most Growable' customer accounts
  • Take overall ownership of a small number of 'house accounts' which may require occasion visits to customer sites
  • Prepare reports for management team as necessary, documenting quoting and order activity in addition to other relevant information required for sales pipeline management.
  • Drive Lean/Continuous improvement efforts within the Sales processes.  
  • Assist Finance with the resolution of any outstanding payment issues.
  • Build a close, collaborative working relationship with other internal functions including but not limited to operations, external sales and engineering departments 


  • Customer focused
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in inside technical sales, with prior management experience
  • Experience in materials planning and forecast analysis preferred
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with a bias towards action and speed
  • Constantly displays integrity and respect
  • Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal correspondence.
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite and Windows Outlook.
  • Must we be willing to travel on occasion (less than 10%)
